Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 6, 2026 · Last updated: October 1, 2026
1855 Partners (“1855 Partners,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a human capital management (HCM) and recruiting platform used by our clients and their employees and job candidates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly (such as your name, email address, phone number, and application or employment details), information generated through your use of the platform, and information provided by our clients in connection with employment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and recruiting.
How We Use Information
We use collected information to operate and improve the platform, communicate with you about your application or employment, comply with legal obligations, and provide the services our clients engage us to provide. We do not sell personal information.
SMS / Text Messaging Communications
1855 Partners sends text messages only to people who have opted in to receive them:
- Job candidates who tick the optional text-message box on a job application receive texts about that application, such as interview scheduling, interview confirmations and application status updates.
- Employees of companies that use the 1855 platform who opt in receive a text when a new pay stub is ready to view. These texts never include the pay amount.
We use your mobile number and your consent to receive texts only to send you these messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. For full program details, see our Terms and Conditions.
Mobile Information Sharing and SMS Consent
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
If you apply for a job through our platform, we may share your information with the employer you applied to, solely for the purpose of processing your application. If you work for a company that uses our platform, we share your information with that employer solely to provide its HR and payroll services. Your mobile number and messaging consent will not be used for marketing or promotional purposes.
The mobile information of anyone who opts in to our text messages will never be shared with or sold to third parties or lead generators.
Sharing of Information
We share information in these categories only:
- with service providers who help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, communications and background-check providers;
- with the employer you applied to, solely for the purpose of processing your application, or with the employer you work for, solely to provide its HR and payroll services; and
- when required by law.
None of these categories includes your mobile phone number or messaging consent for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. See Mobile Information Sharing and SMS Consent above.
Data Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations. We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
Zarvoza Mobile App
Zarvoza is the 1855 Partners Android app for field workers (package name com.zarvozamobile). Your employer creates your Zarvoza account; there is no self sign-up. This section explains what the app collects and how it is used. The rest of this Privacy Policy also applies to the app.
- Precise location. The app collects your precise location only when you clock in or out, and when you choose to attach a location to a hazard report, while the app is in use. It never collects your location in the background. We use it to record where a punch happened and to check job-site geofences. You can deny location access and still clock in and out.
- Camera and photos. The app uses only the photos you choose to attach, such as photos for hazard reports and expense or invoice receipts. Hazard report photos are deleted 1 year after upload. Receipts are kept for 3 years to meet IRS record-keeping rules, then deleted.
- Device identifier. The app uses your phone’s Android ID to link that phone to your worker account, for security. It is not used for advertising.
- Work information. Your worker ID and name (provided by your employer), your time punches, schedules, expense amounts, hazard reports, and team feed posts and recognitions.
Information sent between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS only), and information stored on your phone is kept in an encrypted local database. The app shows no ads, does not use an advertising ID, and contains no analytics or crash-reporting software from other companies. We never sell information from the app and never use or share it for advertising or marketing. We share it only with your employer and with the service providers, such as cloud hosting, that run the service, as described in Sharing of Information above.
To delete your Zarvoza data, ask your employer, or email hello@1855partners.com.
